Synopsis

Environmental Impact Analysis (AMDAL) is a tool that is widely used in countries that are concerned about the environment. With the existence of a business plan or activity or project, it can result in changes to the initial environmental tone. It is these changes that will occur that must be analyzed, the possibility of impacts that could be detrimental to the existing ecosystem or on the contrary provide positive value.
This book on Environmental Impact Analysis is intended as a guide and information material for students majoring in Civil Engineering, Manado State Polytechnic, enthusiasts or activists of environmental issues as well as other readers so that they can know the tools used in analyzing and assessing the environment without or with. a business or activity (construction), especially those related to AMDAL documents (ANDAL frame of reference documents, ANDAL documents, RKL-RPL documents) starting from the process, analysis, evaluation, up to the issuance of environmental permits which are required.

Author Biographies

Dr. Teddy Takaendengan., ST., MT, Manado State Polytechnic

Dr. Teddy Takaendengan., ST., MT, born in Makassar 26 July 1967, is a teaching staff/lecturer in the Civil Engineering department of the Manado State Polytechnic. Participated in D3 Civil Engineering at ITB Polytechnic (1990), obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Sam Ratulangi University, Manado (1996), Master of Engineering from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP) Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) Surabaya (2005) , and a Doctorate degree from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) Bandung (2017). Participated in Basic AMDAL Training organized by the Environmental Research Center-Institute for Research and Community Service, Bogor Agricultural Institute (PPLH-LPPM, IPB) (2019).
Since 1990 as a teaching instructor in the Workshop and Laboratory at the Department of Civil Engineering, Manado State Polytechnic. In 1992 he was appointed as a National Civil Service Candidate and appointed as a teaching lecturer. The courses taught are AMDAL, Environmental Management, Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics, Heavy Equipment and PTM, Hydrological Engineering, and Hydraulics Laboratory. Also teaches courses on Waste Management, Waste Landfill Planning, Industrial Waste Disposal and Waste Water Network Systems at the Environmental Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Sam Ratulangi University.
Previously held the position of Coordinator of the Applied Building Construction Undergraduate Study Program (2019-2020), Member of the drafting team for the North Sulawesi Provincial Regulation on Waste Management (2018), Member of the Preparatory Team for the selection of BGS Collaboration Partners in the Construction Program for Waste Processing Installations into Electrical Energy in North Sulawesi Province (2021).

Ir. Franky R. Tombokan, M.Eng, Manado State Polytechnic

Ir. Franky R. Tombokan, M.Eng, born in Manado 18 October 1962, is a teaching staff at the Manado State Polytechnic Department of Civil Engineering since 1993 until now. Completed his undergraduate education at the Faculty of Engineering, Sam Ratulangi University, Manado in 1991 and obtained an Engineer (Ir) degree. In 2000, he continued his Masters studies at the University of the Ryukyus Okinawa Japan in the Civil and Architecture Department and completed it in 2002 with a Masters of Engineering (M.Eng).
Since being appointed as a lecturer in the Civil Engineering department of the Manado State Polytechnic in 1993, he has held a structural position as Head of the Lab. Surveying, Lab. Hydraulics, and Lab. Physics. The courses taught to date are Environmental Management, AMDAL, Applied Physics, and Occupational Health and Safety (K3).
