Synopsis

English for Electrical Engineering Students or English for students specifically in the engineering field is a special study in the field of Electrical Engineering which is in accordance with the needs of the Electrical Engineering study program.
The units presented in this book are designed using the role play method, to help students who are tasked with giving presentations in English with interview strategies and tips, making CVs, Electrical Engineering topics, and speaking skills, and are equipped with practice questions. Followed by an explanation of grammar, which is always important in context. In each chapter the discussion presents the topic, grammar focus, conversation focus, and assessment in the form of practice questions and formative tests.

Author Biographies

Dr. Dra. Betsi Rooroh, M.Pd, Manado State Polytechnic

Betsi Rooroh, born in Manembo-nembo village, Bitung City (North Sulawesi) on April 17 1968. Education at Catholic Elementary School in Bitung City in 1980. Education at Bitung City Public Middle School, 1983. Bitung State High School education in 1986. Bachelor's degree in majoring Indonesian Language and Literature Education at Manado State IKIP, completed in February 1991. In 1994 he became a Civil Servant as an educator in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Manado State Polytechnic. Served as a lecturer at the Health and Nursing Polytechnic at De La Salle Manado Catholic University since 2015. Teaching Indonesian Language and Entrepreneurship Courses. In 2004, Master's studies at the State University of Malang, completed in 2006. Doctoral program studies in Indonesian Language and Literature Education, State University of Malang completed August 27 2020. Competencies apart from teaching staff, have other supporting competencies in the field of Digital Marketing from LSP Digital Technology Author of 2 books with the title Novel "Dering" by Iwan Simatupang in the Perspective of Narrative Quality and the book with the title Folklore of the Overseas Loloda People on Lembeh Island, Bitung City published by Tangga Ilmu Jogjakarta 2020. Maya Ernie Inneke Munaiseche, SS.,M.Hum, Manado State Polytechnic

Maya E.I Munaiseche was born in Tombatu District. Southeast Minahasa, North Sulawesi, 1970. Completed elementary school, junior high school in Tombatu, and high school in Manado. Alumni from the Faculty of Letters, S1 and Postgraduate Masters in Language Sciences (Linguistics).. The author has experience working at PT. Dian Sakato Tours & Travel Manado 1995, and at PT. Minakencana Indopermata Jakarta 1997-2001. He has been a permanent lecturer at PT Vocational Polytechnic State Manado since 2003, teaching Technical English for Informatics, English for Electrical Engineering and QMS courses in the Electrical Engineering department. He served as a lecturer at the Public Health Polytechnic (Poltekes Manado) 2013-2016. Actively writing National and International Scientific articles. Apart from teaching staff, they have other supporting competencies in the field of Digital Marketing from LSP Digital Technology. Muchdar Daeng Patabo, ST.,MT, Manado State Polytechnic

Muchdar Dg. Patabo was born in Motoboi Besar, Kab. Bolaang Mongondow, North Sulawesi. He studied at Motoboi State Elementary School Kotamobagu, SMP Negeri 1 Kotamobagu, and STM Malesung Manado. D3 Alumni of ITB Bandung Polytechnic, Bachelor and Master of Electrical Engineering UNHAS Makassar. Since the beginning of 1990 until now, the author has worked as a lecturer at the Manado State Polytechnic, Department of Electrical Engineering. The author has expertise in the fields of Electrical Design, Electrical Installation and Industrial Control. The author is the Head of the Diploma Study Program 3 regular class and PT PLN Persero collaboration class at PT Vocational Polytechnic Manado State. As BNSP and IATKI Competency Assessor. Dra. Grace Hellen Pontoh, M.Hum, Manado State Polytechnic

Grace Hellen Pontoh, was born in Tomohon on 9 November 1959. Completed her Bachelor's degree at the Faculty of Letters, Sam Ratulangi University, Manado in 1988 and Master's degree in Linguistic Studies, UNSRAT Manado Postgraduate in 1997. The author has been a teaching staff at the Manado State Polytechnic since 1993 with General English and Technical English courses. The textbook works that the author has produced include Technical English II in 2007, English for Specific Purposes and English For Computer Students 2020. Email: pontohgrace@gmail.com
