This vocational research methodology textbook is designed to provide practical and applicable guidance for vocational students, particularly in the field of Informatics Engineering, in planning and conducting research relevant to the world of industry and technology. Given the rapid development of information technology and the growing need for research that addresses real-world problems in the workplace, this book serves as a tool to help students understand the stages of research—from problem formulation, research design, data collection, to analysis and the preparation of comprehensive research reports. With an application-based approach, the book emphasizes the relevance of research to industry needs, enabling students to connect research theory with professional practice. In addition, this book is also an important reference for lecturers teaching research methodology courses, allowing them to enrich their teaching materials with real examples and case studies aligned with current industry developments. It is hoped that this book will enhance the quality of vocational education in Indonesia and produce research that is not only academically valuable but also contributes significantly to technological and industrial advancement.
