Synopsis

This "Modern Business Simulation" textbook is specifically designed to equip students of the D3 Business Administration Study Program at Manado State Polytechnic with a comprehensive understanding and practical skills in running the flow of modern business activities. Filling the gap in structured teaching materials, this book guides readers through a realistic business simulation, starting from creating initial documents such as job application letters and business forms, to implementing cash and credit transactions, managing financial administration, archiving documents (manual and digital), secretarial tasks, and professional communication according to office ethics.
This book aims to be the main reference for students in integrating business concepts and theories with practical applications in real work scenarios. In addition, the material in it is also relevant for the general public who want to understand business operations and administration.
The scope of the material in this book is systematically arranged based on the curriculum and Semester Learning Plan (RPS) for the Business Simulation course. The discussion is divided into six main chapters covering: Business Simulation Activity Work System, Implementation of Business Simulation Flow for Business Transactions in Months I, II, and III (covering transactions, filing, secretarial duties, and office ethics), Business Simulation Documents, and Managing Business Simulation Documents Digitally. Through a practical instruction approach (Agent Instructions and Department Store Instructions) which are carried out in groups, students are expected to be able to understand in depth each stage of the business flow and develop important skills in digital office administration. Each chapter is equipped with a summary, additional learning resources, and practice questions to strengthen understanding of the material. Thus, this book is expected to provide significant benefits in preparing competent and work-ready graduates in the digital era.
