TE24-07 Operating system

Law Number 49 of 2014 concerning National Standards for Higher Education states that higher education standards encompass various aspects, including standards for learning content and educational media such as textbooks. Textbooks play a crucial role in achieving the goals of higher education, namely providing relevant, systematic, and structured primary references for students.

Quality textbooks are needed to support students in understanding the concepts and applications taught in specific courses. In the context of the Operating Systems course, this textbook is designed to help students gain a deep understanding of computer system management, such as process management, CPU scheduling, memory management, process synchronization, and file systems.

The development of this textbook aims to ensure the sustainability and dissemination of knowledge in the field of operating systems. This book serves not only as a primary reference for students but also as a medium for independent learning and a tool for disseminating knowledge developed by lecturers with expertise in this field.
