The development of textbooks is also aimed at ensuring the continuity of knowledge. Textbooks are a means for lecturers with certain expertise to disseminate their knowledge so that it is hoped that the knowledge presented in the contents of textbooks can be developed by readers, especially students. To update the contents of textbooks, the role of fellow teachers with the same competence is necessary in providing input for improving the contents of textbooks.
Applied Physics is a course that studies various physical phenomena in the field of electrical science that occur in everyday life and examines them in depth through the factual dimension by observing the facts obtained, the conceptual dimension by examining related concepts, the procedural dimension by examining the processes that occur, and the metacognitive dimensions by examining the interrelationships or interconnections between the concepts contained in these symptoms. The materials in the applied physics course are: electrical measuring instruments, emf, electric current and conductor resistance, resistors, resistance circuits, basic circuit laws, magnetic fields, induced electromotive force and magnetic force (Lorentz force).
