Synopsis

This textbook is designed as a learning resource that provides additional knowledge and skills for students in the PLC & SCADA course and applies applications to the field of Industrial Control, so that students can have knowledge and knowledge that is able to compete in the era of globalization. The expected result of the learning experience after studying this textbook is to help students and instructors of the PLC & SCADA course in studying the content of the PLC & SCADA course. This textbook is used as a guide for students in understanding PLC & SCADA to support competency in the field of Industrial Control. The discussion in this textbook is made interactive to stimulate students to be more creative in studying PLC & SCADA.
The benefit that can be obtained by studying this textbook is that students or other users/readers will have sufficient basic knowledge to explore the workings and light analysis of industrial automation control, especially in various control equipment, especially PLCs and SCADA.

Author Biographies

Yoice Rita Putung, SST.,MT, Manado State Polytechnic

Yoice R. Putung was born in Paslaten, South Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi. Alumni of Master of Electrical Engineering UNHAS Makassar, studied at Paslaten State Elementary School, Tumpaan State Middle School, Kr High School. 12 Alva Omega Tumpaan, D-III UNSRAT Faculty of Electrical Engineering, D-IV Bandung Institute of Technology. Since the beginning of 2003 until now, the author has worked as a teaching staff at the Manado State Polytechnic, Department of Electrical Engineering. The author has an interest in the field of Programmable Lohic Controller (PLC). Measuring and Measurement Instruments and Analog Electronics. Guiding students in completing their Final Assignments, actively participating in Polytechnic Internal Research and Research from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia.

Sukandar Sawidin, ST, MT, Manado State Polytechnic

Sukandar Sawidin was born in Tomohon, Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi. Makassar Bachelor and Master of Electrical Engineering alumni, studied at Tomohon State Elementary School, Tomohon 1 Middle School, Tomohon State High School, D-III UNSRAT, Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Since the beginning of 1992 until now, the author has worked as a teaching staff at the Manado State Polytechnic, Department of Electrical Engineering. The author has an interest in the field of Programmable Logic Controller (PCL). Microcontrollers and Industrial Automation Control/SCADA. Guiding students in completing the Final Assignment / Thesis and guiding students in the Vocational School Student Competency Competition in the field of Industrial Control.
